Walk-behind scrubbers suit congested floors, multi-level buildings and areas broken up by aisles, doorways and lifts. Ride-on machines suit large, continuous floors where long uninterrupted runs let coverage per hour do the work.

Large sites frequently justify both: a ride-on machine for the main floor and a compact walk-behind for areas it cannot reach.
