Floor Scrubber Brush and Pad Maintenance
Brushes and pads are the point of contact between machine and floor. Their condition determines the cleaning result and affects the load on the brush motor.
Daily care
- Remove brushes or pads at the end of the shift
- Rinse out embedded soil, hair and fibres
- Store off the floor so bristles are not deformed
- Turn pads over or rotate them so wear stays even
When to replace
Replace brushes when bristles are worn to the manufacturer's indicated point, splayed or missing in patches. Replace pads when they are worn thin, glazed or loaded with soil that will not rinse out.
Choosing the right grade
Brush stiffness and pad grade should match the floor and the soil. The wrong grade either fails to clean or wears the surface unnecessarily — contact us to confirm what suits your floor.
